Sustainable is Best
We are committed to a greener future and actively working to minimize waste sent to landfills.
In our restaurant and Townhouse, we have eliminated single-use plastics wherever possible. We use fully compostable coffee cups and offer discounts for customers who bring reusable cups. Our cutlery and napkins are now biodegradable, and we no longer use plastic straws in our takeaway service or restaurant. Additionally, we are transitioning to fully biodegradable or recyclable packaging.
At our Townhouse, we have removed all single-use plastics from our toiletries range, ensuring a more sustainable stay for our guests.
Our journey towards sustainability continues, and we remain dedicated to making environmentally responsible choices.
Our Suppliers
We take great pride in sourcing the highest quality ingredients while supporting sustainable and local producers.
We work closely with our fish supplier, KishFish—a family-run business since 1966—to source sustainable fish whenever possible, without compromising on quality. Our partnership spans over 46 years, and KishFish has consistently delivered the freshest catch of the day straight from the boats at Howth Harbour.
All our meat and chicken are locally sourced from top-quality butchers and farmers, ensuring freshness and exceptional taste every day.
Our pork sausages, black and white pudding come from Kelly’s of Newport, an award-winning artisan butcher in Mayo. Kelly’s is a family-run business with a deep passion for quality, and it holds a special place as the hometown of Cathy.
By partnering with trusted suppliers, we bring you the finest ingredients while supporting sustainable and ethical food sourcing.
Farm to Fork
The Humble Spud:
Ireland is renowned for its rich tradition of growing potatoes, particularly along the east coast. We proudly source our potatoes from our own family farm for as long as our harvest allows. When our yields run out in winter, we carefully select only the best suppliers to maintain our high standards.
All our potatoes are prepared in-house daily. We wash, peel, and chip them by hand to bring you the freshest, most authentic chips—free from any additives or preservatives.
Our chips are cooked in a blend of vegetable fat and are fully suitable for both vegetarians and vegans, ensuring everyone can enjoy a proper, traditional chip.
