Luggage storage is available free of charge if you arrive earlier than your check in time or have a late flight.

Our rooms are only accessible by stairs over 3 stories. We have NO LIFT available. We do our best to help all our guests with heavy luggage to their rooms. Don’t be afraid to ask if your bag is heavy! If you suffer mobility issues, please lets us know prior to arrival and we will do our best to accommodate you on a lower floor.

All rooms have a television, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, deluxe toiletries and in-room safe. Iron and ironing board will be provided by reception on request. There is fridge / freezer available in the room. Wifi is available in all areas of our guesthouse.

Lunch is served from 12.00pm-21:00pm every day. Our casual dining restaurant serves a range of dishes from Dubin’s best fish and chips, grilled seafood, mixed grills, gourmet burgers and fresh salads. Wine and draught beer are also available. Table reservations are not usually needed, but at peak times the restaurant can be quite busy, let reception know and we will arrange a table at your desired time. For large groups of 8 or more are dining we do ask you to book in advance. Guests staying with us may also avail of 10% discount to use to sit in or take out.

We are gluten friendly restaurant and do have gluten friendly options available. Please ask the wait staff for our allergen menu.

Taxi.
This is the most expensive way. The airport is 11km from The Kingfisher, a taxi fare based on 1 person is approximately €25, and is €1 extra per additional passenger. This option can be cheaper if there is 4 people travelling together and should take 20-25mins depending on times of the day (peak times are 07.00-10.00am – 16.00-19.00). The taxi rank is located outside terminals 1 and 2. All taxi drivers must display their identification and driver’s licence number. Taxi drivers are all regulated in Ireland, if you feel like you have paid too much, please get a receipt and you can make a complaint to the taxi regulator. Please note taxi drivers can not charge you extra for large cases or extra luggage. We can also arrange a taxi Meet and Greet for you. The taxi will be waiting at the terminal, take your bags and bring you directly to the hotel for a fixed price.

Bus.
There are 2 bus companies that operate to and from the airport. The Aircoach bus is the blue coach and you will be able to pick it up outside Terminals 1 and 2. www.aircoach.ie A single ticket to O’Connell Street (closet stop to us) for an Adult is €8 and a return ticket is €12. Child single €2. Return €4. Online prices are cheaper if booked in advance. The bus runs every 30 minutes from 23.55 to 03.25 hrs and every 15 mins from 03.25am to 23.55. its is estimated 25 mins to and from the airport. They also have free Wifi. Please note times may change or be affected by bank holidays.

Dublin Bus Airlink 747, this is a cheaper option but does not run 24hrs. Bus times commence at 05.00 am to 23.30. Fare for adult single is €6 and return €10. Child single is €3 and €5 return.

Car rental.
There are a number of car rental companies located in the airport. Check out www.daa.ie for the list of car rentals available.

Yes we supply baby cots with sheets. Please inform us at time of booking if you request a baby cot or high chair.

We are located in the heart of Dublin city centre but do check out our interactive map for all local tourist attractions and how close they are in relation to us. The city is best explored on foot and don’t forget to always look up, Dublin has such beautiful buildings and architecture!

The local currency is the Euro. All major credit cards are accepted. There is a cash machine located 10 metres from our guesthouse. For prepaid bookings, the credit card holder must be present at the time of check in.

Booking directly on our website, by telephone or email you will always find the best rates available, we also provide group discounts.

Your card will only be charged at the time of booking if you book the non-refundable rate, this rate is cheaper but if you cancel after booking and your credit card has been charged you will not be refunded.

Free cancellation up to 5 days prior to arrival
1-4 days prior to arrival the full price of your stay will be charged.
In the event of NO-SHOW, you will be charged the total amount of your booking.

Yes, all our rooms are non-smoking, and we enforce a strict No Smoking policy
